Covid Secure
In order to comply with the Government and The Angling Trust guidelines, the following temporary measures have been put in place at the Resvervoir & Lodge:
Our Measures
- The lodge is completely sanitised prior to your arrival and the keys will be sanitised and handed over as arranged with Mary.
- Sanitisers are provided at the lodge entrance as well as inside.
- The numbers of anglers is being limited to enable us to social distance, all anglers will have pre booked arrival times but Lodge guests are automatically reserved a space.
- The fishing times will start at 8-30 and the site will close at 8pm
- Anglers should arrive on their own unless they can prove they are travelling with someone they live with in the same household.
- Park with plenty of space as if it was every other car space
- Please prepare your tackle at home or in the car park. There will be no need to sign in on arrival so you can commence fishing straight away without the need to enter the club house.
- The social room will be closed, and no tea and coffee facilities are available at the clubhouse.
- The club toilet facilities will be open, if you need to use them please use the hand sanitiser as you enter the building and wash your hands well. The toilets will be sanitised on a regular basis as will the door handles etc
- The boats, anchors and jetty handrails will be sanitised every morning prior to your arrival please only use one boat and do not touch any others. Boat anglers may fish with people who live in the same household, in all other cases it is strictly one person per boat.
- Please bring your own lifejackets
- The entrance gate at the end of the dam will be opened by the bailiff every morning and should be left open all day to save continually sanitising it
- To ensure bank anglers observe social distancing stands will be 15m apart
- When you have completed your days fishing please make sure no one else is leaving at the same time. If they are, wait until they have moved on.
- Use the sanitiser hand unit provided in the new outside weigh in area, weigh your fish (hopefully!) fill in a catch return slip that is in this area and place it in the box provided.
