These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made to stay at Mayfly Lodge, whether made by email or over the telephone or by our website. If there is anything you wish to discuss regarding your booking or these terms, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The price payable is for Mayfly Lodge for the number of nights stated in your confirmation letter. Bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights. The price includes central heating, electricity, bedding, towels and tea towels. Hand Sanitiser and soap is also provided. A non-refundable deposit of one third of the total price is payable to secure your booking, with the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Any booking within 4 weeks of your arrival is payable in full. We reserve the right to re-book the property if payment is not made on time and the deposit will be retained. Payment can be made by BACS, debit or credit card. Your booking is complete when we acknowledge receipt of your booking request and deposit. Prior to this, the booking will be regarded as provisional and will be held for 24 hours only.
A security deposit of £100.00 is added to the final holiday payment. This deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return minus any charges incurred including but not limited to any excess cleaning. This can be supplied as a separate payment This will be ‘held’ only.
It is the responsibility of all guests to follow the Government guidelines for social distancing and hand washing.
If you cancel less than 6 weeks before your arrival your deposit will be forfeited but you will not be charged for the remainder of the booking. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If we are required to cancel your booking owing to Government restrictions on travel or lockdown, or due to an outbreak of Coronavirus affecting your booking, we will offer you either a full refund or a transfer to an alternative time.
The accommodation will be available from 2 pm and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of your departure. There is parking available and the key will be available in the key safe situated at the Lodge. The stated number of people for each cottage cannot be exceeded.
In view of the close proximity to the Lodge of deep water, we regret we are unable to accommodate children or dogs. Smoking, lighting of any fires and the use of lighted candles are not permitted.
Guests must not cause any nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring properties or behave in an unreasonable way. The playing of music or any noise which is clearly audible to nearby properties is not permitted. We reserve the right to ask any guests to leave immediately.
If you, or any member of your group develop symptoms of Coronavirus, or are asked to self-isolate whilst staying on our premises, you will be required to vacate immediately and return to your permanent address as soon as possible, adhering to Government guidance at all times.
We do not accept any liability for damage to your property or injury to you or members of your party whilst on our premises.
We do not accept any liability for you or members of your party contracting coronavirus whilst on our premises.
