The newly built Lodge which is adjacent to Powdermill reservoir and the Hastings Flyfishers’ Club is now available for hire. The lodge is well appointed with all facilities and includes 2 double bedrooms (sleeps 3), bathroom with shower and comfortable living room, kitchen with fridge, washing machine etc. All bedding and towels are provided. Tackle storage space is also available.
Perfect location for fly fishing holidays, walking and relaxation, with all modern facilities for your enjoyment. Situated in an exclusive woodland setting and enjoying views over the 56 acre lake, which is run by the Hastings Flyfishers’ Club Ltd, well stocked with good sized rainbow trout.
The property is in an area adjacent to Woodland Trust property which includes enjoyable walks and scenery, particularly woodland bluebell and wildflower walks.
Please note that the Holiday Lodge is aimed and designed as a fly fishing lodge and is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. If you like fly fishing and fancy a break then you are at the right place!
The 56 acre reservoir at Powdermill is stocked with rainbow trout of exceptional quality which have a reputation for being hard fighting and well proportioned fish. There is also a good head of resident brown trout which should be returned when caught.
Fishing starts in February through to the end of the year and the Lodge is available for hire throughout the year. Day ticket flyfishing through the Club at discounted rates is available to Lodge residents.
